Namaste, pronounced Naw-me-stay, is an extraordinary store filled with treasures, collected from across Asia and Africa by Owner Kimberly Pease.

Customers will find beautiful pieces from Asia - one-of-a-kind Tibetan chests, hand-painted screens, carved wooden windows, TV cabinets, fascinating Buddha sculptures, intricately carved indonesian beds and much more. There are wonderful small accessory items, such as Lotus flower napkin rings with matching tea lights, Banana bark serving trays and hand-painted leather-covered wine boxes.

Most old items are labeled with provenance and date. She buys high-quality furnishings from reputable dealers and many pieces bear labels or special markings. Quality is evident in the details - the beautiful hinges, the paper linings in boxes, etc...

There are hand-beaded bracelets, necklaces, earrings, lariats, belts and more. Pease also carries an extensive collection of Hill Tribe silver jewelry. You'll find ostrich-skin handbags, large cashmere/silk Pashmina shawls, hand-woven silk scarves from Thailand and Laos and other unique accessories.

Extensive selection of African masks, artwork and textiles. There are textiles, such as colorful embroidered baby carriers and children's caps that make great decorative artwork to display on a stand or wall. A three-foot-by-four-foot Chinese drum is a standout as a table. Among the rarest items are Zula spears from the 1920s and Zula wedding capes. Not everything is rare. There is something for every age and budget from a $2 Thai musical toy frog to a $100 black pottery angel from Mexico.

Some of the items, such as the silver Hill Tribe Costumes and Textiles, have taken years to acquire.

Pease has put herself in potentially dangerous situations to seek out the incredible items for sale at Namaste. However, it is all in a day's work for this vivacious, passionate woman. She discovered Asia and Africa in 1988 and fell in love with their ancient cultures.

The name Namaste means "to honor and respect the God and goodness within you." Now the store is brimming with items from 10 different countries.
