Immotion Studios Announces Three Winning Nonprofits of the Mission in Motion Contest
Local nonprofits win free branding and marketing services from Immotion Studios and TCU
Fort Worth, Texas – August 24, 2015 – Immotion Studios and TCU recently called on all DFW-area nonprofits to apply for the inaugural Mission in Motion competition. After an online voting process and a round of panel presentations The Ladder Alliance, Victory Therapy Center and BIND: Brain Injury Network of Dallas have been selected to win brand development and marketing communication services.
The Ladder Alliance, which provides women victims of domestic violence or low-income women with the tools to lead self-reliant, independent and successful lives, receives $8,000 in services from Immotion Studios, a full-service branding and advertising agency. Victory Therapy Center and BIND will each receive 300 hours worth of services from TCU’s School of Strategic Communication.
Victory Therapy center provides therapeutic riding, physical therapy and counseling services by utilizing relationships that our clients form with horses. BIND provides tools and a bridge of support to adult brain injury survivors so they can reconnect into life, the community and workplace.
“This contest helped prove what we already knew… there truly are some amazing nonprofits here in DFW,” says Lindsey Hurr, vice president of Immotion Studios. “We started this contest because we really wanted to give back to the community and it’s a well known fact that some of the organizations with the biggest mission don’t always have the resources to communicate their mission.”
Any charitable organization based in Dallas/Fort Worth was able to apply. The initial phase of voting involved online voting and the second phase was a panel selection. The panel consisted of representatives from Immotion Studios, TCU, Volunteer Now, Fort Worth Business Press and Equify.
