Let’s Write Pretty

I officially have a new hobby. Calligraphy! I must admit… After seeing the trend of modern calligraphy come about, I’ve been slightly obsessed with it (no shame). I recently came across the Designroots calligraphy account on Instagram and have become super inspired by the classic art. I really love anything to do with type.

I was pleasantly surprised a little later to see a free (yes, free) online calligraphy class hosted by Scarletandgoldshop. All I had to do was order the supplies and sign up for the date and time I could attend. Needless to say, I wanted to learn how to actually write calligraphy instead of my attempts with pencil and pen, so I signed up.

I loved the class! It was only 45 minutes and at your own pace (with a live chat if you have any questions). I just love how the classic art has such a modern twist on it now and I can’t wait to do more with it.
